Kumusta! I wanted to share some of my writings. They are in several categories: ASIAN AMERICAN, MONROVIA (Ethnic History and Happenings), SAN GABRIEL VALLEY, and OTHER THOUGHTS.

A little about myself: I was born in Taiwan, raised in the Philippines, and have lived in the San Gabriel Valley since 1979. Professionally, I was Associate Professor of History and Asian American Studies at Pasadena City College in California. Now retired, I volunteer for the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California (www.chssc.org), the Pasadena Museum of History, and the Monrovia Historic Preservation Group (www.mohpg.org).
